Mudslides have claimed several lives in Northern Peru, 10 people were killed when this truck was hit by a mudslide and plunged 200 metres into an abyss near a town called Abra De Porculla
Torrential rains caused rivers to overflow, wreaking havoc on highways, crops and bridges.
The accident occurred along the Fernando Belaunde Terry Highway, where buses and trucks were stalled.
Local residents reached the vehicle which was buried deep in mud and managed to save at least four victims.
